My boyfriend is in the Army and came found several coins that are ancient while trekking across Sinjar Mountain, Ninawa Provience, N W Iraq by the Serian Border. We have identified some, but the coin below has me stumped. This coin is in Arabic, but has a Star of David on the back. Can anybody help us to identify it? Thanks for your help!

I don't recognize the coin, but the six-pointed star on the reverse, often referred to as a "Mogen David" or "Star of David", is known in the Arab world as the "Seal of Solomon" or "Sulayman's seal". نجمة داوود و خاتم سليمان and has been used on modern Islamic coins, especially those of Morroco.

Thanks, I came across that information also but all the Seals I found have a hole through the center of the coin. This one doesn't, so that's what's really stumping us!
