Is ths worth the price

I am new to collecting and was wondering if the "grab bag" in below link is worth the $119 or $229?

Grab Bags = bad news. Think about it -- if what was in the bag was worth more than $119/229, why would they sell them together, undervaluing them as a lot? You'll probably get a decent deal -- "retail" value wise, but in resale/collector's value? Probably not that much value. I'm guessing you'll get a bunch of modern common silver pieces.

Go for quality, not quantity!

 

They're never worth what people ask for them.

Good for the seller, bad for the buyer.

 

Think of it this way, grab bags are put together with all the crap they couldn't sell quickly or couldn't sell at all.
