Is this worth $80 I paid & Is this one of the varieties (large letter)?

    The other dealer in town just told me this is Better than vf20 but only charged me $80...Is he fair

    Personally, I'd call it VF25. Worth $80? Yeah, I'd say that's about right.

    Bust Half varieties are identified via Overton Numbers, named for Al Overton, the gentleman who first codified them. Yours - from the position of the first S i STATES and other details - looks to be O-103, one of the more common varieties. I think it fairly graded at VF20, maybe even a little better, and worth the price paid.

    It is a good value for what you paid.

    The coin buyers anonymous meetings are a great place to sell coins. There is always someone falling off the wagon at every meeting. :>)
