All signs point to this being authentic and I don't see any red flags, what do you guys think? (Photo attached if it gets taken down or don't want to click on it)
It just doesn't look right me. I don't like the lack of detail in some of the wheat stalks? Some of the low fields look more worn than the higher fields. I'm far from expert, jmo.
Kazuma and bsshog40, you beat me to it. 1791 date on a trade dollar.... It is a reproduction (not authentic)
Sadly there are 8 bids. They don't make reporting easy. The title says it is a Morgan dollar. Of course it is counterfeit as trades were only produced from 1873-1885.
"Shipping needs: 12-35 working days." after 30 days you have a real hard time getting a refund from a bank or Paypal. scam city for who ever bought it.
I love how it was made in Carson City almost 70 years before Carson City was founded. Does that mean that time travel is somehow involved in the minting of this coin?

Please check that you've entered the correct item number Listings that have ended 90 or more days ago will not be available for viewing. For a good reason. Seller didn't want to have to follow up. Seller got paid .. and cancelled his eBay probably. or maybe eBay caught on to it even if it was after the fact and cancelled the 0 seller account.
It's a "Fantasy Coin", instead of stamping "copy" on the coin they put a date that is way wrong for the issue. However, there are sellers who will hook some poor suckers who will pay good money for these very obvious fakes. Last week I watched a fake 1732 Sicilian 4 tari Fantasy Coin sell for over $300. on Ebay by clueless bidders. I had informed the seller about the coin being a fake and he didn't care.
