    IMG_6139.jpeg I’m a little unsure.. a quadruple sestertius?
lol, just kidding. I bought this for $6.78 on eBay and will be hanging it at my basement bar. I think it’s pretty awesome!

An Irish (Dublin?) bar judging by the 3 castles on the bodhrán. A nice set up!

Yes.. mother and father married and moved from Dublin in 1963. I am a Toronto boy, but visit Dublin to see family whenever I can.

    That's a fantastic bar!
I am sorry but I have some bad news for you.
I am no expert but I think your Sestertius is tooled. It may also be fake as it is a bit bigger than any Sestertius I have.

Seriously, it is awesome and the metal is probably worth more than you paid for it.

But Clavdivs isn't an Irish name! ;)
Good to hear you get back to Dublin. I haven't lived there for a long time but I'm just across the water in London, so get back regularly. Enjoy your bar and oversized sestertius!
