    WTH?

Why would PCGS put "WHEAT REVERSE" on a 1925 Lincoln? What other possibilities are there? :goof:

This doesn't look right! I am wondering if that may be an old counterfeit slab?

    Ribbit :)

Ps: I just checked the listing and th seller says it is a Sample Slab. I guess PCGS made up sample slabs to hand out to demonstrate their product and this is one of those, which would be back in their early days and for slab collectors, they'd probably have goosebumps all over but for me, it's a 25 cent penny in plastic. ;)

I don't see why you would need a 1925 lincoln authenticated but not graded... something smells fishy

Don't Sample Slabs say "SAMPLE" somewhere on the insert?

It is PCGS #10 slab on sampleslabs.com EXCEPT the whole slab isn't green, just the label. Interesting comments on it.

I think it is green because of the lighting. Setting the camera's white balance for the lighting conditions should produce a photo with more realistic color.

Yep, your right , Jim. It is the only slab I see there without a number and the only one I see that does not say "sample"

They are based on the PCGS 5 generation of slab that was produced between late 1995 to November 1999. Exactly when during that period they were made I do not know. One interesting feature is the logo all in white. This is the only PCGS slab where the logo isn't gold or silver.
