Meow has found a 1963d penny with something extra by the date. Meow at first thought PMD, but the number beside the anomaly seems undamaged. It almost looks as if there is a faint tip of a six behind the three. What do you guys think?
The three does not looks damaged to Meow. Where did that extra material come from? If from the three, would there be not a noticeable chunk missing off of it?

It's not textbook but could possibly be 1963-D 1c 3/3 Doubled Die Obverse, VCR#1/DDO#1, CONECA-1-O-VIII, Wexler-001-StageC, Breen#2241, FS#-025.8; shows as a doubled cusp of the 3. I found one this year but more like the stage B without the thick 3.....study the die markers for both Stage B and C http://doubleddie.com/750534.html This is what I call helping @MeowtheKitty
How about this for annoying? - this catchy little tune, on an endless loop, is used by interrogators to disorient prisoners
It is so minuscule that it doesn't matter what it is. No added value. No the 3 does not look damaged but the surface could be. It could also be a small lamination crack. It could be other things but again, no added value so not worth the fuss about what it is.
The top of the "6" displays damage that carries over to the top of the "3". Metal was mashed in Northeast direction. Meow.
That's a tough one to figure out. The penny may not be noteworthy, but there is a distinct extra tic. The little tick does in shape look like the DDs you showed Meow. Oh well, thank for your help. Meow will keep it forever anyway, what ever it is.
