is this silver

    My wifes dad found a new 10 pence in his yard 1973 I doubt its silver but wanna check to be sure.

    I got a 1973 new 10 pence off my sister-in-law about 6 months ago. She sold me her whole jar of coins (foreign and domestic). It is cupro-nickel and worth about 16 cents.
