My wife got this 1976 $2 in her change today. Is the serial number unique enough to list it on eBay?

It isn't a radar or repeater. I suppose you could call it a birthday note (August 7, 2008), but I wouldn't expect it would sell for more than face value.

Not a thrilling serial. Spend it. After ebay and paypal fees, you won't get your two bucks back.

hmmm received a 97% on the universal coolness factor...

07808708 contains 2 triples and 1 pair. Only 0.20% of 8-digit numbers have this combination.

07808708 has 3 unique digits. In 0.71% of 8-digit numbers, there are 3 or fewer unique digits.

Unfortunately the number doesn't meet the criteria for numismatic currency rarity.

Its is trinary and a date thats all I know :). I would keep it, just because it only cost $2 to save and its neat. But you couldn't sell it now. Don't be fooled by the "1976" thing thats not old for $2's at all. Quite common actually. Its even more common the 1995 or 2003. So to simply answer your question: You cannot sell it and make money. You can either keep it or spend it.
