Somehow, I think this seller is going to be disappointed - 1914-S - . That being said, that is one nice Lincoln. Too bad it is in the wrong slab.

And as if charging that much for the penny wasnt enough, he wants $33 for shipping!

That much insurance is that expensive..shipping is accurate

Listing , IF reported, will go away as a rule violation. Numerical grade and referance to PCGS price guide are no-no's. It does not bother me a bit, actually, I'm kinda curious

There is nothing wrong with that listing for grading. Numeric grading is absolutely permitted - just not in the title. Price guide is a no-no.

Not so. If everyone knew that, sellers like this would go out of business in a hurry!

Not necessarily. They are right on the money on some coins, way too high on some coins, and too low on others.

I am one of the few fans of NTC. I have had some great deals on several Lincolns in NTC slabs - because they are in NTC slabs. They are very much underrated in my opinion.

That being said, even if that is a 66, he would be lucky yo get 65 monies for it, just because of the slab. Those pictures are hard for me to interpolate, but I see little to keep it from being at least a 65. Could it really be a 66?

I use to think PCGS price guides were to high. Think maybe for the more modern coins they still are. Some of the coins prices I have seen from the earlier years seems to be real close to their guide. Let me repeat, recent prices I have seen . Of course the PGCS price guide if for PCGS coins ONLY.

You're right. A broken clock is 100% accurate twice a day.
