    You got it right. Just an 1891. Given the shape, worth about its copper value.

    Thanks. Supposed error coins often look indistinguishable to me, but I really didn't think this one was anything special.

    1891 and a small die chip has joined the ball of the nine to the upper loop. This is a common occurrence with this type of 9 and it shows up on many different coins and years as long as they have that type of 9 in the date.
