I found a Idaho state quarter in my change this evening and it's normal on the front, but gold on the back. Any one heard of this error?

Do you have a way to get a weight in grams, preferably to hundredths of a gram? (Ex. 5.67 grams)

this sounds like the end coin from a quarter roll. our newer coins tone easily to a deep copper or gold color if left exposed to the elements of the air.
