The gist is that it's at best a Bashlow "restrike", but I'm not confident enough to say so with certainty. It's condition is rather rough, and (again, at best) would mean its value would be impacted, but would still be worth "something". Perhaps you could post a photo of the edge? @Insider @desertgem
Need to see the edge. I see what looks like a silver color on the rim coming through the basic copper color. There was no reason to counterfeit these in 1966 so probably the light.
The Bashlow restrikes were made with defaced dies and the markers here match, but there are what looks to be casting bubbles as well which don't appear normally. I think this is a copy of the restrike which make little sense given that they are still $25-50 coins.

Sorry, the images are not very sharp. From what I see, your coin is a cast copy of a Bashlow restrike.
