I was looking thru some of my notes and I came across a 2 dollar bill with the serial number of 12221354. Would this be considered a ladder note? Lou
I don't think so. To my understanding, all the digits on a ladder note must be in ascending order (eg. 11222334 ) or something like that. But don't take my word for it. I'm far from an expert in the fancy serial # game.
Yes you are correct. That is not a Ladder, note but a Note that I would keep, because the '2''s stand out to me.
Hello Lou.... The remarks made are correct, however, there can be different levels of ladders. Example B12345678A might be a Specimen note, not to many times will you find numerical order precisely! So B98765431A would be a partial or 7 numeral ladder...or B00001234 and reverse B43210000A Hope this helps!! RickieB
gocamels and greglax45, thank you very much for you input. Greg, yes I will keep the note for know. Hello RickieB, thank you for the explanation sir. Lou
Lou, You are welcome. Here is a good site that explains ladder notes and he has quite a few of them... www.usararecurrency.com RickieB
