    Although I am not a Morgan guy by any stretch of the imagination, this one just doesn't look right at all. I have nothing to base that on except the bad juju I get when I look at it.

    Buying key date coins ungraded on eBay poses huge risks no matter which series it is. I don't even look at them. Maybe I should so I can brush up on counterfeit detection.

    No. Before I started collecting coins "officially", I ended up with a cast like the one posted. I paid like 50 US for it. Probably the worst thing I ever bought. A bad memory indeed.

    If you need something a little more solid to go on, the CC MM matches no known VAM, but I think bad juju is all you need for this one :)

    Color is not silver not in any way stretch of the imagination not in toning not in tarnish is a base metal fake akin to German silver alloy
