Is this error on 1987 D Lincoln Penny?

    Hello Everybody,
    I wonder is this error on D (Denver mint)? It is tilt like 10*.

    Split Plating on the D.
    Common issue on Copper plated zinc cents.
    The exposure to the zinc underneath will turn to zinc rot if exposed to the elements.

    No , that degree of tilt is not enough as the letter was punched on by hand on each die, so some variance is not valuable. If it was 45 degrees, you would probably find interest if damage wasn't involved.

    Oh, @paddyman98 . Meow has been meaning to ask you for a while if you have ever hurt your back from all the gold chains you find when metal detecting like in the Duracell commercial.

    Meow would not mind a ripped pocket or two from too many silver coins found in the coinstar reject tray. A sore back from too many gold chains found metal detecting must be nice too.
