Is this damage or an error?

    Found this in the inheritance box & not sure what to think.. it has LIBERTY mirrored backwards on one side. The other side has 1977 D on it. Is it a very damaged quarter or could it be some sort of mint error? 20181122_071703.jpg 20181122_071739.jpg 20181122_071753.jpg 20181122_072152.jpg

    looks to me like someone squeezed your coin and another in a vice...

    This particular coin is damaged. It looks like they were trying to counterfeit an error.

    Looks like this one was done on a hydraulic vise to get that much depth.
