I posted this in my World Paper Money thread, but it is not identified yet. So, I'll repost here as I'm not sure that it is money. I have a large row of them. The reverse is blank. They are small (look at notebook holes in picture) It looks Russian, from 1922. Does anyone know what it is?
yes, it does have the Russian hammer and sickle, but past that and the 1922 on the bottom of the note. i too am unsure....

Dursin: THANKS, bud! That is what it is. I checked and I have a row of 10 of the 25 Rubles as well as a two others hooked together. I may sell my set of two and keep the 10.... Bob
The seller of the last one shown (Exactly the same) has that dfown as P150 but if you look at P150 in the cat it is not the same Have a look here http://senal2000.hobby.ru/notes_p_eng.html Have you checked out Russian stamps for that period?
That is what I was saying he has the issues for 1922 which are in the catalouge and yours dont match them!
Cyrillic I can read only a little (ie. recognizing the characters works, but then I still don't know what a word means ), and I think that the letters in the semi-circle say "gerbov marka". Judging from these links (see below), I guess those are tax stamps or something like that ... http://www.medbib.com/Talk:Revenue_stamp#Interwiki_links http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Гербовая_марка Christian
