Is this consider an error penny?

    Hello,
    I am new to coin collecting. I recently found this penny in my wallet and I thought it is unique.
    Could this be an error coin? Or has the side just rub off.
    Please let me know what you think it is. Thanks you in advance.

    It looks like the coin was rubbed down through post mint damage. Still worth one cent :)
