is this coin worth anything?

    I want to know if this is anything special about the penny that i have i have never seen it but i wanted to know if its worth anything?

    First of all Ohhhlela, welcome to CT.
    In 2009 the US mint to commemorative the 200th year birth of Lincoln came out with four new cent designs. I don't have pics nor do I have a link to any of them, but a simple search on here or google will show you all four designs. What you found is the first coin in the series usually called the Birth and Early Childhood Years cent. Starting in 2010 the mint changed the reverse design once again to a shield. You may start to see these in circulation as well. Good luck and keep on searching.

    Welcome to the CT forum . In your photo it looks like the logs may be missing on the sides of the log cabin. Is this what you are asking about?
