Why would you think it's anything but damage ?

Definitely Damaged Object.

 

That poor cent has spent some time in a parking lot being ground into the pavement by automobile tires. Still worth a cent though.

 

I would like to see the reaction of TPG grader if you sent this in.

 

Yeah, that thing has been abused.

 

I've always wondered what 5 minutes in a blender would do to a coin? Now I know.

 

If it was something there would be no way to tell through all the damage.
