I know that Teletrade is notorious for their poor pictures, but this 1938-D PCGS MS67 Buffalo may just be an unattributed D/D variety. If so, it would be worth a lot more than the $150 the last few have sold for on their site. The bidding is now over $200 which makes me think others have caught on. Take a look at the close-up pic of the reverse. What do you think? http://www.teletrade.com/coins/lot.asp?auction=2888&lot=1051 http://www.teletrade.com/coins/lot.asp?auction=2888&lot=1051&imagetype=j2 TC
I don't think it is, I have a MS66 38-D and 38-D/D and it looks normal to me. There is a "shine" that makes it look like a D/D but I have another 38-D (MS65) that looks that way too. When you look under magnification it is normal.
I don't think it is a D/D. That deja vu stuff is not quite as good as heritage, but looks like a regular d. I think at times some of the coins on teletrade go way to high - but just my opinion.
