Is this an S on a 1988 D penny??

    image.jpg image.jpg I found this, what appears to be part of an S next to the D. I had others look at it through a loupe and asked if they seen anything odd about the penny. All of them stated that it appears there's a part of a S next to the D. I guess I wasn't crazy.
