Is this an error

  1. It looks as though the coin is new in the one area is this a possible error or some sort of chemical reaction it’s had to something else there’s nothing stuck on the coin it’s clean

    Nope, looks like a little bit of acid or something got on the coin. Here's one of mine that I years ago thought was an error. I was convinced gold was somehow struck into the coin...

    No, not an error. Just some kind of deposit (old adhesive or some other foreign substance) on the coin.
