I'm not sure if this is some kind of error or if it is nothing really. I am referring to the line of some sort over the date. Thanks

It's either a die gouge or a gas bubble trapped when the planchet was copper plate. More than likely, the latter.

Take a soft toothpick and see if it moves when pressed on. Is so, gas bubble. If not, die gouge.

Either way, not a retirment winning premium.

oh well I really dont need to worry about retirement for another oh, lets see, carry the one... about 50 years, so no biggie. :D Do you think it has any premium, at all? Thanks

It does not move, so I would assume die gouge.

Sorry but I'd just throw it in the jar.

Well, that's where I got it (well actually a roll) so I guess there I no loss.
