I don't really know exactly what that is as I cannot rationalize how it could have occurred. You see, since 1983, the Lincoln Cents have had a 1 mil copper plating over a Zinc core. I could rationalize say and area with zagged edges as perhaps some type of plate peeling but certainly not something that appears blended into the copper plating.
