I don't have a picture or anything or even the note. I wasn't sure about it and was busy when the teller showed me so I didn't think much of it but it was a $1 and on the top corner it had a extra piece like a flag or something attached. Kinda hard to explain. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if it has any value over face?http://cgi.ebay.com/TNT-2006-1-FRN-...0?hash=item334e998682&_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116
Here is one I found on ebay...Is it really worth this?

sounds like a cutting error. Depending on sz/condition could add $50 in fine-$250 in CU for minor. Major (big ones) $2k in ef - $3500 in CU per US paper money errors book. Check to see if the prining is affected by it.

It's the minor one. Book values are probably inflated if it makes you feel any better. Maybe you can get it tomorrow.

It was a week or so ago so nope it won't be there. I know for future reference though. I should have grabbed it up and asked questions later. Live and learn.

I found one of those before I started collecting and ripped it off. At least this way, maybe someone else can get it.

not a major error. and the premium for this type/issue would be nominal.

Also, a lot of uncut sheets of currency have been cut apart with 'fake' errors such as this - in that case, it really wouldn't be worth anything additional.

believe it or not, it happens more often than you think.
