Is this an error coin

    It's hard to tell whether it is a clip or not. It's very small, and there is no evidence of the Blakesley Effect. Did the people on BoobTube mention the Blakesley Effect?

    No they weren't specific but I have a few like this been bankroll hunting alot I'll take some better pics tomorrow I'm beat lol you have a great night

    A clip that small on a coin that small wouldn't necessarily produce the Blakesley Effect.

    But looks good to me. As a minor clipped error.

    It's a genuine clip -

    I can see the correct 'punch and tear'
    marks inside the clip area.

    That's one of the authentication points
    for a clipped planchet.

    Now one question is it worth anything other than a penny and should I send it out to pcgs for grading and authentication

    It's worth a buck +/- so there is no reason to spend $30-$50 to get it graded. However, it's still a cool find

    I tucked it nicely in a protective cap it's in nice condition thank-you everyone for the help and info I appreciate it alot
