Is this an error coin,it's thin it is 1.47 grams

    It has spent a good part of it's life in an acidic environment.
    The acid has dissolved away much of the coin.
    It's not an error and commands no premium.

    Part of the weight was lost at the rim of which I can't see much of. (first photo at top)

    Can't say anything on this as the photo is blurred and not cropped well enough. If you can clear up the photo, please let us know what you think you have.

    Sorry David, but it did not come from the Mint like that. It is post mint damage (PMD) but the who and why someone did this will probably be a mystery forever. Boys and their toys, you know. People do the strangest things sometimes.

    It looks like it's age. I see nothing special.

    You say you bought these on eBay?
    My advice is to learn everything about what you are interested before buying anything.
    On eBay, there are honest sellers, there are sellers that know very little about what they are selling, and there are dishonest sellers. Learn to not trust everything you read on line.

    I think he's referring to those three marks, two in the field and one on the chest. Looks like someone used something sharp to punch those into the coin.

    i'd say the second coin is damage, those marks got hammered into the coin at some point in its life..
