I had not heard of this 1997 D having these errors. There is many, I think, I do not know though. Any info?
Haha, unfortunately that is not an error. It is either Machine doubling caused by shaky dies during the strike or it's a plate issue caused by the new zinc lincolns not holding together well. Either way, I'm afraid your coin is just an average cent. Hopefully that won't stop you from collecting more.
Heh heh, yes I just read up on it, although it is not a sought-after error, I am having a blast searching and learning. Thank you for the response, collectors that are willing to answer the more basic, repetitive rookie questions are doing a great service to those that are just learning!✌
I have been doing this just over a year and I still ask a lot of questions. There is a lot to learn in this hobby. I have found some down right weird ones. Some are very interesting also. These guys are wonderful at helping!!
One of these times a member will be nice enough to show me how to put my threads on a thread like this. But until that day comes this I have to do it's on the chat under 2016 oddities and PMDs. Just look for the turkey getting out of town before Thanksgiving LOL.
2016 oddities PMDS shella Figured it out myself. You know when you have dyslexia things do not come easy at times. What seems easy to others, I fortunately am living the last parts of my life in the digital age. It may take me a while but I'll figure things out.LOL
