strike through error? Was looking through some cents and came across it. If it is an error, what would be it's value? Thanks ahead of time. sorry for blurry pics, I'm going to go get more. http://www.cointalk.org/gallery/showimage.php?i=633&goto=next&c=newimages Phoenix
I want to roll search at your bank! Searching cents and you find a proof quarter? So I am assuming we are looking at the reeded edge right? I would say might have something, but knowing it was in circulation it could be post mint. You say you will take more pics? Please include both obverse and reverse of entire coin if possible.
OOPS! Meant to put this in my Proof Error? thread. There are more pics of this there. Here is the cent: I'm going to go get more pics tommorow. I'm to beat to get more tonight. Sorry, it is a lousy pic. http://www.cointalk.org/gallery/showimage.php?i=632&c=3 Phoenix
More Pics!!! Here are more pics. My questions are: is it a strike through error, and what would the value be? Thanks ahead of time. Here are the pics. Phoenix
Okay, thanks. If that is what it is, do you or anyone else know what it's value would be? at first I thought maybe it might be a strike through string, but you might be right. Thanks for the help so far! Phoenix
If it is a bubble it is worth 1 cent. Now I sound like Roy! If it were a strike through I'm not sure of that value. Keep looking they are out there, Michael
