Hi I found a few random pennies in a small box on my dresser that I forgot were in there but I found this penny and was wondering if it is a strike through grease penny. You can not really see the date snd the word LibertyThanks to who might know.

Hmm?? The Obverse is so different from the reverse. The surface or fields they call them are so dull and of a different look, if that makes sense.
It could be a "strike through" but what? It has a "powdery" look.
I'm on the fence. Maybe I'm looking into it too much??
    Awaiting more answers....... :nailbiting:

It's a worn die strike on the obverse.
    Struck through compacted grease.
The reverse side was a newer (fresher) die.
