    Yes. Casting bubbles all over, and it doesn't look like 450 year old silver should.

    Deacon Ray's coin illustrates the really obvious point on these. The portraits were cut about as shallowly as possible resulting in low relief that wore away quickly. The legends were much more bold and deep. Many coins were clipped along the edges by people wishing to profit from a bit of silver hoping no one would notice. Deacon Ray's portrait is better than most simply because it has the full line of the face. The OP coin is simply too good to be true.

    Mine is similar and weak.
