Is this a real NGC slab?

Is this a real NGC slab? The typeface looks suspect to me, but maybe it's just a slab generation I am not familiar with yet? Plus, I am getting an error message from the NGC cert verification page.

Doesn't look like what I'm used to seeing...must be an old holder. The number checks out, though.

I found it using my ProCoin 2012 software.
Population = 1752

Aprox Value = $ 1250

 

It is a generation 8 which was only used in August & September of 2000. I have many of them.

it checks out on the NGC website, so I'd say yes, it's real

 

As Lehigh said, it's legit. I have a dozen or so of these generation 8 slabs.

 

It was in use for a short time just over a decade ago.
