This is out of my realm of collecting. I found similar coins online but I ancient gold-03.jpg ancient gold-01.jpg don't know if it is real or a repop/fantasy piece. The refiner scanned it and said it has a very high gold content. It weighs 4.4 grams. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hard to verify, but if you did check
the GOLD content then that’s half the
    battle :)

I see why the OP was concerned. Justinian gold can sometimes look "weird", meaning the bottom of the face like jaw and neck do not strike up. This gives some of these a weird ghost like appearance. Typical for some of his coins.
