there seems to be reeds IMG_0792.JPG IMG_0793.JPG IMG_0791.JPG IMG_0790.JPG IMG_0789.JPG IMG_0788.JPG IMG_0787.JPG on the inside of the edge of the coin. Is this rare or common? If it is rare what would be an approximate value? Does anyone know?

Tilted hub strike? I'm reaching for the proper terminology. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I've only found one coin with this, a state quarter.

    I'd say it's possible it's from
    a collar clash, or damage.

There would be tens of thousands
of them out there, as the die appears
to be damaged in that area.

Thank you Fred. THAT is the term (collar clash) I was searching my feeble mind for.
