Is this a "PMD"? 1941-P

    The left side of the coin is dented inward, takinng out "LIBERTY".

    IMHO no. It looks like a clean chip. I don't know anything about the machines doing the actual die impressions on the blank planchettes and their tolerances. I can't believe one like that could slip through and get minted. Could be it happened after the striking process while getting shoved into the finished cent bin.??

    Looks like a curved rim clip from your photos.

    Any way you could get a photo of the edge?

    Here is the edge, if this is what you mean. It didn't turn out as well as it should, as it is kind of hard to do a Scanner pic of the edge, lol!
