Is this a planchette error?

    The exact name of that rim anomaly slips me at the moment. I don't "think" it a planchet error. Not a 100% sure. I've seen many of these rim type issues plus the gas bubbles I see on your coin.

    Thanks, I think I found it. A partial collar strike, slightly off center? Sure a lot to learn on these Lincoln cents...

    This is no collar error, nothing more then a worn die .
    Shield cent are famous for this .

    Here's one form of a collar error, it's called a stiff collar strike .

    I can't see a partial collar error at all.
    What I do see is a strike by a ever so slightly misaligned and very worn die.
    It's nothing special.
