Is this a planchet. Error

Looks as if it was double stamped. No mint mark

They both look like minor Misaligned Die Strikes.

 

Yes the planchets seem fine.
The slight double rim is because of what paddyman said.
Reverse of the 1988 is needed to determine if it is MAD or off center.

 

Would it be a good idea to take them to shop?

 

The value is very minor/nothing. The larger the error the better.
Not worth anything.
