I was bankroll hunting I found a 2009 Lincoln cent on the reverse I found what looks like he was shot in his lower legg it has a slight bulge not smooth and a hole inside the bulge I am hoping it is a new error i do not believe it was damaged any advise what be greatly appreciated
I don't know I been trying to research it and I come up with nothing yet it's on the right legg below the knee the light shines on the hole but around the hole also is bulged light the die had a chunk of something in it before pressed I know the pics I took are not the greatest I will try to get my friends cam to take better ones
I took another pic the top is the one I believe is a error the bottom one I'm sending out to be graded
It looks like it but when I magnify the hole it's graffic lines don't look like a popped gas bubble I wish I could get a better pic of it but not today sighs I do have some other ones I need help on to thanks I do appreciate your replies
Welcome to the forum. Better images will get you better answers. So far I agree it's a plating issue.
Gator.... unless you are really experienced in these coins and their values, don't bother sending any out to be graded.... it is a waste of your money.
When you post photos, you have 2 choices-thumbnail and full size, it's best if you use the full size.
I found a 1995 D nickel last night that is odd. I've looked all day on line for this variation or error. I have found none. On the reverse side in America the C has a tail that actually crosses the A where it would be crossed. Have u ever seen or heard of this coin?
