I have called eBay now 3 time because my "watching" item list will not sort "Time left: newly listed". Instead, that function now sorts them "Time left: ending soonest". From what I can gather, everyone's is now functioning that way. Anyhow, for the third time I get, "I will report it to our technical department and they should be able to fix it soon." So far, that all sounds like normal eBay, but about 1/2 hour later, I got a phone call. eBay called and reported to me that their technical department was very busy and that they would most likely not be able to fix that search for a while. I am not sure that it is better service or not, but at least I got an honest answer for a change.
