Is this a lamination error? How are coins with lamination errors priced???

i would like to know if this coin has a lamination error and also curious how are they priced. If this one does have a lamination error could you tell me your price estimate for the coin? Thanks!!!!

It looks like it's covered with glue.

 

Iv rinsed it with water numerous times,tried rubbing it with a cloth,even tried scratching at it and it's nothing that can come off.

 

Give it an acetone bath.

 

I like and collect Lamination errors. That's no Lamination that I've ever seen. I agree with glue.. superglue!

 

I don't think it is a lamination error since pennys of that year were solid copper.

 

Uh, no. They are an alloy of 95% copper and 5% tin and zinc.
Yes, they can laminate.
No, the OPs coin is coated with some kind of glue. Water will not remove it, but acetone certainly will.

 

Do you know what is meant by Lamination?
