Ive been eyeing this ebay auction lately. http://cgi.ebay.com/Set-of-8-Sugar-...Fast_Food_Cereal_Premiums?hash=item53dcd6e659 And I was wondering if $6.00 is a reasonable price for this lot. I know next to nothing about the promotion, like are the coins cleaned, real, made up? There might be some extra value with it being a cereal promotion, but it wont be much.
I know, I was adding to the joke. Though Ive been told by very reliable sources that I am clinically not funny.
I'm sure the coins are common, authentic, unc world coins. If you're buying it just for the coins, then $6 is too much. If you're buying it for the coins AND the cereal promotion, then I would say it's probably worth it. I mean I don't think sugar bear world coin sets are readily available, and at less than a buck each you don't have much to lose -LTB
I definitely don't think that sugar bear coins are rare and people are jumping to get them. This auction has been up for at least two months that I know of. I was just wondering if the $1 a coin price was worth it. The holders just mean I don't have to draw my own pictures of a bear in the outfits of each country. My drawing skills are also nationally known to be offensive to the eyes.
75¢ each for eight coins worth as much as a nickel apiece sounds like a good deal to me, but then I'm not very bright. The only reasons I'm not bidding are (1) you have priority, and (2) I try not to chuck money into the trash.
As a novelty they're neat, but LTB is spot-on. I'm sure they're just like the coins Wheaties had decades ago, UNC but not valuable.
I dont consider myself having priority over these, Ive been coming back to them over and over again for two months without bidding after all. I'll probably wait another week or two after some higher purchasing priorities are out of the way and then if they're still there I might pick them up.
