Is this a fake?

    I am not buying and I don't own it, its on eBay. It does no look right. It looks cast. 1.jpg s-l1600.jpg

    I have a lot of "rules of thumb" when it comes to my collecting. The rule at the top of the list is "never buy raw ancients through Ebay". I'm pretty confident that this approach has saved me some number of future headaches :blackeye:

    Of course there are tons of legit coins there to go along with the piles of fakes. But that is a minefield that I'd rather not navigate.

    It may be legit, but I like the one you bought better.

    I don't see any telltale casting signs.

    I was not saying it was fake but it just looked a bit funny to me. Thanks for the input.
