Looks like it was struck by a slightly mis-aligned die.
If the reverse is like this, too, it would be an off center strike.

 

looks like an error to me. Probably not worth anything because of the condition of the coin. The error is also not highly noticeable.

 

Yup. Mis-aligned die strike. IMO, in that condition, it's worth a nickel.

 

Sounds good, I expected it to not be worth any premium due to condition and not a radical error....
