I found this coin in a roll of pennies that I got the other day and I'm wondering if I should be excited about it or not... I pulled out my magnifying glass along with my jewelers eye and studied the coin for a good while. There are no visable scratches, scuffs or gouges on it anywhere which was surprising since it's a 2000 D. There is some kind of mark on Abes forehead that looks like another part of his head, and another a little further down. The back side of the penny is also funny looking, it has these wierd waves on it that are hard to explain... I have more pictures, some are closer up and better but they are way too large to put on the page :( I would love to know what ya'll have to say about this penny; I'm very curious about it... Thank you :D

Sorry, can't tell from the pics. They're a little too blurry. If you can get some sharper pics, it'll be easier to determine what you have. The focus of the reverse is so soft that when it's blown up, you can't see anything.

Also, you mention "no scuffs" but all over the coin are scuffs- the collar, the beard, the rim, and the bow-tie.

You got yourself a penny, no error, just post mint damage. Spend it wisely! ;)

It looks like the plating is bubbling and flaking off IMO
