Is this a Double Die?

I found this coin while going through a roll of pennies. I am new at this and not too sure what it is. I am aware what a double strike is but I don't think this is one. I have brought it to 4 dealers and they did not have an answer for me. I hope someone can help me out.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the neighborhood, Goff!

I can't be 100% sure, but it does look like machine doubling to me rather than a doubled die. As a rule, if the secondary image appears to be "flat and shelf-like", it is machine doubling (which may also be called strike doubling or mechanical doubling).

I forgot to say that it is a 1982 penny.

I'd say MDD since the nose seems not to have increased in size.
