If it was a die crack the metal on the coin would be raised. To me, this looks like one of the crummy Zincolns that someone messed with. Chris
Looks like it was used 1 too many times to me. Not a crack for sure. Looks more like the zinc is splitting apart for overuse.
A die crack is not a crack in the coin (like you have) but a crack in the die used to strike the coin. When the coin is struck, the metal flows into the crack beyond the typical surface of the coin, so this will appear as a raised line on the coin.
