Is This A Die Crack?

    This coin itself is pretty rare but I just noticed this. I have never seen a scratch like this.

    If it is raised, it's a die crack. It's not unusual to see them form at an edge where the devices or lettering are incuse on the die. In any event, die cracks don't add to the value of the coin unless there is a significant metal displacement.

    When I look on the coin and in the scan it looks raised.

    As he said earlier it won't bring much more value-wise to most, but if it was in an unusual spot like it appeared the beaver was shooting lightning out of his butt, it maybe worth something to someone!

    Under extreme magnification, I believe it to be a die gouge rather than a crack.
