OK my friends, IMG_0011.JPG IMG_0010.JPG IMG_0009.JPG IMG_0008.JPG IMG_0007.JPG “my bubble got popped” with the very helpful realization here on CT that it is PMD in the area of the hair.

So is there a die crack error from the top of the 1 across the bottom of the neck?

Does this increase the value of this coin that already has PMD?

Die crack at bottom of the neck, but die cracks aren't errors.

I used to collect VAM's, and I stopped for two reasons. One was because of the plethora of "Scribbles" that were being submitted for authentication and attribution. The other was that die cracks such as these that were heretofore unacceptable as VAM's were now being attributed. It's like the "crack-out and resubmit" game that some people play to get a better grade.
